Overview

I am currently the Drive Lead for UMD Loop, an undergraduate engineering club based in College Park, MD focused on designing complex systems and innovative solutions. We are currently part of the University Rover Challenge (URC) where we design a Mars rover to complete various challenges.

As Drive Lead, I oversee a team of 10 engineers to manage the design, testing, and integration of the chassis, suspension, and propulsion systems that can traverse uneven terrain obstacles up to 30 cm high. In the 3+ months since becoming Drive Lead, our team went from conceptual ideas and basic CAD designs to a working rover as shown above.
